The Loggerhead Marinelife Center is a free conservation center and aquarium! A really wonderful place to learn more about efforts done to protect and rehabilitate the local wildlife, plus you get to see lots of sea turtles up close.

The River Center is another free place where you can learn about the local wildlife. There are aquariums plus a touch tank!

Fun fact: Marisa spent her high school years volunteering here, and she worked there in college. So please reach out about any questions.

Climb the iconic Jupiter Lighthouse and learn more about the history of this beautiful town. P.S. The reception will also have a beautiful view of it!

The Busch Wildlife Sanctuary is a nonprofit organization dedicated to the protection and conservation of Florida’s native wildlife and natural habitats. Admission is donation-based, and this is a wonderful place to get to see lots of Florida wildlife.

Can't come to Florida without a trip to the beach!

Though winters in Florida may mean windy beach days, Dubois Park provides the opportunity to walk around a lagoon and enjoy some (hopefully) calmer swimming.

Jupiter Outdoor Center and Riverbend Park offer lots of hiking and kayaking options. If seeing Florida wildlife at Bush Wildlife or the River Center wasn't enough for you, now you can kayak and explore the beautiful nature Florida has to offer. Extra points if you see a gator!

Lion Country Safari is situated on over 300 acres of natural area and home to hundreds of animals.

Take a trip out west past Wellington, FL (where Jesus grew up!) and see lots of animals up close!

About 25 minutes south of Jupiter is Peanut Island. You can rent a boat shuttle to the island and spend the day exploring. There are beautiful snorkeling sites and trails all around the island. A wonderful spot to continue to enjoy your escape from the cold!

Want to see an alligator before you leave Florida? If you rent a car and drive out to the Wellington Nature Preserve, there is a great chance you will see one. Jesus and Marisa famously took a walk through this preserve once while planning their JMT hike, and while doing so saw at least 20 gators. (Go Gators!)

The famous Palm Beach is a less than 30 minute drive from Jupiter. While in Palm Beach, you can enjoy luxury sightseeing, swim at the beach, shop at Worth Avenue, learn about the history of Florida at the Flagler Musuem, or walk along the lake path and watch the yachts.

The city of West Palm Beach is a twenty-five-minute drive south of Jupiter. You can grab dinner and do some shopping at City Place. Or enjoy some beautiful art at the Norton Art Museum. If you are looking for a going-out scene, then Clematis Street in West Palm Beach is filled with restaurants and bars!
